I think I am a weird case. I have always had trouble with constipation since I was a small child. Since I have been effected by cfs/me I have had much less trouble with this. Although I still don't go every day I do go 3 or 4 times a week and that is alot for me. I used to go once a week or 10 days. I have also had trouble that I get somewhere and have to find a bathroom fast. Until recently I have never had this. If I felt the need to go I could hold it for days. Ok not the best topic of converstaion but I figured I would share it with you so that we can see not everyone sticks to the standard rule of thumb.

This is part of what makes all of this so difficult to diagnosis , treat and deal with. Everyone is so different. But I guess maybe all illnesses have this problem. I am sure not everyone with cancer for example reacts the same way or has the same symptoms
