From the time I was 13 up until I was about 26 I had severe migraines. Suddenly they went away and I have no idea why. I have only had 2 or 3 between 26 and 30 and none at all the last few years. Now 4-6 years after the migraines have stopped I got cfs. So I was wondering, could there be a connection?

hmmm maybe have to look into it, but i suffer mega mirgraines, on and off all of child hood and still now i was so scared once i thought i had some kind of tumor but scans said i was clear... thank gawd but now i still suffering, i still have mega headaches, ive blacked out many times from them!!
my brother gets really bad mirgrines and he suffers small pains in his chest and arms same pains i get but i dont think that he is no where near as bad, as he only complains once a yr about it,
its the central nerves system that the pain barrier effects, so from headaches to other muscle pains etc, could be linked but as to its a cause.... im not sure,, ill have a nosey about see what i find..

i suffered through migraines all through my teen years, but i didnt know thats what they were. i thought they were just normal headaches. i didnt know that it wasnt normal to vomit because of a headache, to see flashes of light, to feel the way i did. then they went away for several years, but came back about 6 years ago, right after i broke my arm. i dont know about the triggers, but i do know that they have gotten worse over time, and i always get a migraine right before my period every month, its part of my pms symptoms

Same here, my worst headaches are just before I start a period. They are so bad I have to lie down with no noise, no tv, can't read and the children laugh because I have to wear sunglasses for the light. If I have to walk anywhere I have to hold me head the whole time. As I work part-time its really difficult to work through these headaches at times. I use nurofen plus which I find cures all my normal headaches, but does at least make these headaches bearable.

i am just like that! no lights, no sounds, no smells, nothing, just me in the bedroom of serenity, in my jammies relaxing
my bedroom is a cool blue and white theme, cause its supposed to relax. and my pyjamas are the same colour blue as this background on the site.
one thing that works for my headaches (meds do not) is acupressure.. pinching the nerve between my thumb and index finger for a minute.. it works
